Administrative Assistant for Sales

RMI Laser, LLC is looking for qualified candidates for an administrative assistant for our sales team.

This cross-functional, interdepartmental position provides support for a fast-paced environment. An individual in this role must be meticulously organized, be able to multi-task, have excellent time management and enter data accurately. 

Responsibilities

· Create Sales Quotes, Sales Orders from data provided in databases

· Input data in the computer across databases

· Scan and file documents

· Receive materials into the computer system

· Survey and order supplies

· Update and maintain attendance calendars and conference room schedule

This position will have a comprehensive view of business operations from Sales to Inventory to Customer Service and will interact with managers and personnel in these departments.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sage (or MAS), and Sales Force. 

This job will require occasional lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds. Previous administrative work experience of 1-2 years required, with experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment preferred.

This is a leadership role responsible for assuring product quality and managing the ISO program and document control. The Quality/ISO Specialist interfaces with all departments and levels of personnel and is integral to the success of the company.

Responsibilities
  • Formulating quality objectives and interpreting them to management and other personnel. Initiate best practices for quality control based on current industry and professional standards. Keeping current on government and industry quality codes and standards.
  • Reviewing all data obtained during quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies, procedures, and objectives. Informing management team of significant issues or developments from these activities and actions being taken to improve the situation.
  • Developing and initiating standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
  • Investigating and adjusting customer complaints regarding quality.
  • Reviewing and approving vendors.
  • Maintaining ISO 9001 certification, scheduling and performing internal audits, providing ISO training to employees and orientation to new hires, document and procedure updates within the ISO system, set monthly Managers’ meeting agenda and facilitate the meeting.
  • Scheduling external ISO audit and accompanies auditor.
  • 50% or more of the job will include Re-organizing and maintaining engineering documentation: Drawings, BOMs, ECOs...etc. Including Document Control system folder – updating to include current approved document revision (mechanical, electrical, or software documents) and obsolescing old version. Ensuring backup of system folder.

The position of Document Compliance and ISO 9001 Specialist encompasses a wide view of quality and how processes and procedures interact to ensure product quality and compliance to customer expectations. Our Document Compliance Specialist is expected to implement processes and procedures, conduct analyses to sustain and improve the quality management system. 

Responsibilities demand a critical attention to detail and a high degree of independence in meeting quality system standards for all phases of controlled document life-cycle processing including filing, maintenance, retrieval, issuance, auditing, and destruction activities. This position is integral to the transition from paper-based programs to electronic documentation management systems and is required to have a strong working knowledge of both document arenas. 

Qualifications

In order to perform this function, candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or 3 years experience in a technology-related manufacturing environment (or combination thereof).

Preferred: Candidate to be certified ISO internal auditor, have experience in document control, have experience managing a quality system, be able to apply statistical processes and analyze data, and be able to communicate goals and results clearly and understandably.

Customer Service Technician

RMI Laser, LLC is seeking an amazing technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, modifying and installing laser systems and providing technical assistance and training to laser system users.

Responsibilities
  •   Troubleshooting and repairing laser equipment both in house and at the customer site.
  •   Providing phone and email support of laser systems
  •   Setting up electronic and optical instruments to test laser systems, insuring equipment meets or exceeds all system      specs.
  •   Loading specified software packages, operating system, and drivers into computer.
  •   Verifying laser system matches Sales Order specs and preparing system for delivery.
  •   Installing laser systems at customer site. Providing training on equipment operation.
  •   Providing updates, status, and completion information to manager.
Qualifications

Candidates must have an Associates degree in Electronic Technology or other technology-related field and/or 2 years technical support experience. Candidates must be fluent in English, have basic electromechanical troubleshooting skills, computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly skills, basic computer skills, and excellent people skills. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
